Frequently asked questions about Rescue and diagnostics
Does the quote cost anything?
When you drop off your device we charge €40 + VAT in advance for labour and diagnosis. That amount is deducted from the fixed quote we send you before repairing.
Do you collect devices from home?
We do not collect from homes or provide in-home service. You can bring your device to our Valdemoro workshop, leave it at an authorised PickUp point in your area or send it to the workshop.
Can you get my files out if Windows won't start?
Yes. The tool starts the computer without Windows, so we can copy your documents and photos even if the system won't start.
Can I move my hard drive to an SSD without losing anything?
Yes. We clone the hard drive (HDD) to an SSD with all of its contents: Windows, programs and files.
What do you do with a drive I am going to sell or give away?
We wipe it securely so nobody can recover your data.
